Skillbridge (Military Only) - Field Manager Installations

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

·     Responsible for the operation and efficiency of the installation department

• Responsible for supervising, training and development of installers
• Performs job walks, pre-inspections and inspections
• Utilize various forms of communication (phone, emails, text) in order to accomplish the position objective
• Responsible for the oversight of installation (acceptable quality, within budget and within schedule)
• Identifies and implements solutions to make the department more efficient
• Creates a customer centric mindset in the department
• Verifies installations are performed to code and the manufacturers guidelines
• Creates installation and warranty KPI’s and monitors those KPI’s for constant improvement
• Provide telephone support for customers, contractors and installers
• Act as a liaison between the company and manufactures
• Review details of the order with the appropriate sales representative prior to any field work
• Review the details of the order with the customer at all jobwalks and clearly in writing define “Work By Others”
• Review all approved submittals
• Extensive involvement in the hiring process, performance reviews and disciplinary actions of installers
• Create a Safety Mindset within the department for both on the job as well as driving
• Successful installations are the result of Planning, Planning, Planning
• All communications with customers and suppliers documented in writing

• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft office and other cloud based products

• Frequent customer interaction, must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate with others
