The Principle Research Engineer III will conduct research on logistics functions related to the development and fielding of DoD and NASA platforms. Develops changes to technical manuals and verifies/validates the technical manual changes with stakeholders.
Duties / Responsibilities
• Develops changes to technical manuals and verify/validate the technical manual changes with stakeholders.
• Manages the deliverables for the development of logistics products to meet the needs of the project.
• Develops provisioning documentation from engineering drawings and prepares for and executes provisioning conferences with the customer.
• Determining logistics requirements for the hardware and software for the mission.
• Plans for physical configuration audits of equipment for verification and validation.
• Mentors engineers and tech writers in the development of logistics products and technical manual modifications.
• Meets with all of the stakeholders to present or review logistics requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
• Ph.D. or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• 2.5 - 3 years of full-time work experience
• Previous Logistics experience with the DoD aviation platforms
• Previous Logistics experience with the Arbortext and IADS Publication
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• U.S. citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in Science, Engineering, or Business
• XML Coding
• Produce manuals related to logistics requirements
• Produce part databases related to logistics requirements
• PowerLog-J experience
• LSA 036 Related experience
• Screening of parts through IHS (Haystack) experience

137,379 x .5 = 68,689.50
