Warehouse duties include but are not limited to rotating and delivering stock to food locations, ensuring availability of products, and performing various cleaning tasks. Working as a Warehouse Team Member is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, forklift operation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
We are currently looking for a:
Adventureland Park - Warehouse Team Member
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure availability of products while maintaining a clean work area
- Perform all warehouse duties while following all established safety procedures and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
- Unload trucks and counts quantities to verify delivered amounts
- Process, receive, rotate and correctly store retail, paper products, food, and food product items within the warehouse (which includes dry storage, frozen and refrigerated areas)
- Deliver orders from the warehouse to the individual retail stands, concessions, catering areas, and other facilities (by pick-up truck/golf cart, van, hand cart and/or by hand)
- Complete orders and responsibilities in a quick and responsive manner
- Ensures ice and air voids are delivered to designated locations before park opening
- Monitor stock levels of the warehouse and communicate any shortages in orders and inventory to the management team
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Conduct product inventories on a routine basis
- Complete and update daily inventory logs
- Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor
- Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and warehouse equipment
- Assist at other F&B locations or with catering events, as needed
- All other duties assigned by leadership
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years previous warehouse experience a plus but not required
- Must become certified to operate forklifts and/or other mechanical equipment within 30 days of hire.
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Iowa Child Labor Laws
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work until later hours of the evening, from open to close
- Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipment
- Ability to comply with all uniform policies
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
- Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
- Ability to work in enclosed spaces and refrigerated areas
- Ability to withstand heat and humidity in the various food stands and restaurants
- Ability to use a step ladder in a safe and proper manner
