About the role:
The Red Hat Content Team is hiring a Senior Event Content Manager to lead our flagship event's session content program. You will be a key contributor to the team that coordinates, curates, and delivers compelling in-person session content and presentations.
In this role, you will work with Red Hat subject matter experts and marketing teams to help translate business and technology themes into high-quality event sessions. You will be an advocate for the Red Hat voice, helping to ensure a consistent narrative across event-related marketing efforts. Our team's mission is to simplify and amplify the Red Hat story, engage IT prospects, and showcase the expertise within Red Hat.
What you will do:
Execute on content plan: Lead the Call for Papers (CFP) process for our flagship event, ensuring session submissions align with established content plans and messaging themes.
Manage speaker relationships: Serve as a primary point of contact for event speakers, assisting them with deadlines, deliverables, and preparation to ensure they are set up for success.
Manage content curation: Support the event content catalog by applying established guidelines to review and organize session information. You will assist in identifying and sharing high-quality content with marketing teams for amplification.
Uphold brand and messaging standards: Review and edit event-related materials, ensuring they are free of errors and aligned with Red Hat's brand voice and foundational messaging.
Contribute to process improvement: Work with team members to monitor event content performance and suggest improvements to our session management processes and workflows.
Coordinate across teams: Collaborate with content contributors and marketing teams across Red Hat to help create a consistent and positive experience for prospects and customers.

Required skills
Relevant experience in communications, event coordination, project management, or content creation.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and communicate expectations to stakeholders.
Strong communication skills.
Experience working with corporate messaging or marketing materials.
Ability to understand and simplify complex information.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Recommended skills
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, or Claude.
Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Workfront, Google Suite, or similar systems and tools is a plus.
Global experience (beyond North America) and multilingual candidates are a plus, but not required.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
