Job Description

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to support the SVP of Product Engineering, ensuring operational excellence, strategic execution, and cross-functional alignment across our global engineering teams.

Role Overview
The Chief of Staff is a critical leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness within Product Engineering. As a key partner to the SVP of Product Engineering, you will shape priorities, enable data-driven decision-making, and ensure alignment across engineering, product, and business teams. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset, business acumen, and a deep understanding of scaling high-performing engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry. 
  •  Strategic Planning & Execution: Drive the development, communication, and execution of the Product Engineering strategy in partnership with the SVP and leadership team
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee and improve key operational functions, including headcount planning, budget oversight, and performance tracking to drive execution at scale.
  • Leadership Alignment & Decision Support: Act as a trusted thought partner to the SVP and leadership team, facilitating executive meetings, defining priorities, and ensuring focus on high-impact initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Cross Functional engineering teams to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment on key initiatives.
  • Executive Communications: Develop clear, compelling executive updates, presentation materials, and internal and external communications that drive transparency and alignment.
  • Special Projects & Initiatives: Lead and support critical strategic initiatives, driving outcomes that improve engineering effectiveness, innovation, and employee engagement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or program management within a technology-driven organization, preferably supporting large-scale engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and collaborate across senior leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience in scaling engineering or product organizations is a plus.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $225,000 - $405,000, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
