Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring a First-Line Manufacturing Manager (Level K), with a safety and quality mindset, to join the 777 Final Assembly Interiors team in Everett, Washington on 2nd Shift.
As a member of the 777 Final Assembly Interiors leadership team, you will be responsible for the safety, compliance, quality, productivity, and morale of your team of mechanics building the Interiors on the 777-2F freighter and 777-9 passenger airplanes. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and focus on continuous improvement and problem solving.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas.
Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
Leads, develops, and motivates employees.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role.
Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the business.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience using the One Boeing Production System (BPS) tools and principles.
1+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace.
Experience with passenger interiors configurations.
Previous experience in a manufacturing management role.
Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $115,900 - $134,200
