THE JOB:

Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar offers a relaxed dining experience with a stunning oceanside view. The open-air concept changes by daypart and season while our screened-in porch offers flexibility for more intimate dining or private events. This role is responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a Culinary team, all to ensure a sensational culinary experience for our guests and team members by creating culinary masterpieces. If you are a hands-on, energetic, experienced and service-oriented Chef, then look no further!

YOU:

To be successful in this position, we're looking for someone who has experience in creating culinary masterpieces, inter-departmental collaboration, health and safety codes and employee relations. This role requires good communication and organizations skills, the ability to motivate, lead, and inspire teams along with a genuine desire to take care of others.

Requirements

• Minimum (1) year related experience in a full-service resort, catering and/or events venue.
• Minimum (3) years management/supervisory experience in a culinary environment.
• Demonstrated and verifiable track record of meeting projected costs; experience/knowledge in profit and loss reporting and fiscal planning.
• Culinary degree and/or hospitality major from nationally recognized school, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word/Excel/Outlook, POS, and Inventory Systems, Craft able, Profit-sword, Avero.
• Obtain/Maintain Serv-Safe Food Safety and Alcohol Certification.
• Meet NHHR background screening requirements.
