2024 Tapestry Internship Program Overview: 

 

Our 10-week Summer 2024 Internship Program will give undergraduates, masters students, recent graduates and those actively enrolled in a specialized/technical certification program the opportunity to develop critical skillsets and gain hands-on experience at our house of modern luxury lifestyle brands. There will be internship opportunities available at Coach, kate spade, Stuart Weitzman and within our Tapestry Functional Groups.  

 

Program Dates: June 4th, 2024 - August 9th, 2024 

Work structure: Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday in office) 

Location: New York City offices  

Compensation: $20/hour 

Benefits/Perks: Summer Fridays, product discounts, sample sales, and Intern educational & social events.

Tapestry Internship Position Details:

 

 

Job Title: Summer IT & Data Science Internships 

 

Primary Purpose: The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in IT/Data Science/Analytics to work within the Tapestry corporate team. 

  

Departments: Information Security, eCommerce Solutions, Commerce Solutions, Tech Services, Data Science/Analytics. 

  

The accomplished individual may possess...  

  

• Excellent written and oral communication skills 

• The path to a BA/BS degree with a focus in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Media Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Math, or other quantitative field preferred (or equivalent practical experience) 

• Familiarity with analytics (media industry, social, digital marketing preferred) 

• In-depth knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems preferred 

• Strong proficiency in LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi/mobile technology preferred 

• Understanding of networking hierarchy and protocols. 

• Basic concepts of computer triage and forensics 

 

An outstanding professional may have...  

 

• Experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Git/GitHub preferred 

• Routing, Switching, Firewalling knowledge  

• Knowledge of Wi-Fi networks, security measures, threat countermeasures 

• In-depth understanding of how the Internet works preferred (DNS, TCP/IP, etc.) 

• In-depth understanding of secure Internet communication preferred (IPSEC, VPN, encryption, etc.)
