Project Engineer

Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is always looking for talented and passionate commercial construction Project Engineers! Our Project Engineers are vital to our ongoing success and will offer a variety of challenges and opportunities for growth.

What our Project Engineers do:

• Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with various project related tasks

• Help generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and track approvals

• Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination

• Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers

• May have more involvement in entire job cycle on selected projects under supervision

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field

• 1+ year of experience in commercial construction

• Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects

You will really stand out if you:

• Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing

• Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems

• Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore)

• Design-build commercial construction experience
