Job Description:
Crowe is seeking a lead government consultants with five to eight years of management consulting experience for business and IT analyst work. The candidate will help clients configure, test and implement new business processes and technology in a human capital management (HCM) and payroll setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define solutions to meet client needs and address critical issues and business challenges
- Analyze business processes and develop improvement recommendations
- Research and analyze background documents, program issues, and best practices
- Interview and facilitate meetings with client staff and stakeholders
- Document workload, staffing, technology systems, and costs
- Prepare written documents and presentations
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations.
- Lead business analyst teams in process analysis
- Assist in business development activities and written proposals
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- This position requires minimal travel
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Project Management Institute Project Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification or PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Undergraduate degree with 5 to 8 years of experience
- Consulting experience specifically with public sector clients in California
- HR/Payroll business process and System Software knowledge such as Workday, UKG, Paycor, etc.
- Business process analysis experience
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
- A track record of producing high-quality work products on-time and within budget
- Ability to be flexible and to learn quickly about different client programs
- Ability to work independently and contribute as a member of the project team
- The applicant must be proficient with Microsoft Office software (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Ability to work closely with project manager and other team members to drive project results
- Understands business process concepts and principles.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Human Capital Management (HCM) software implementation experience
- Consulting experience specifically with public sector clients in California

At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
