Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will also support access control and utilize technology as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, particularly in food and beverage production settings.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any other security-related activities during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
