Sales Tax Accountant - 3 month project assignment

Job Description

The Sales Tax Accountant will be part of a sales tax project.

• Evaluating products and assigning to Vertex tax drivers.
• Review overall end-to-end process.
• Involved in testing - providing scenarios, reviewing outputs, providing feedback.
• Review and validation of customer exemption certificates.
• Setting customers as exempt in Vertex O

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• 2+ years sales tax experience in multiple states required.
• Experience working with Vertex O and Vertex Returns a plus.
• SAP and/or Oracle knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail with ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
