Key Purpose

The Menu systems manager is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing the end to end menu platform to ensure seamless deployments and information flow. As a Menu systems manager, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging technology, design, marketing, and operations to enhance the dining experience, drive revenue, streamline operations, and drive business growth.

Ideal Candidate Experience

• Proven experience in digital menu management or related roles in the food service industry
• Strong understanding of digital menu platforms, design principles, and data analytics
• Good digital marketing knowledge
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to emerging digital trends and technologies
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
• A passion for enhancing the dining experience through technology
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

 

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly digital menus that align with our brand identity
• Evaluate and select digital menu platforms or software that best suit our needs, including digital signage systems, mobile apps, websites, and in-house kiosks
• Manage and update menu content in real-time, including adding new items, adjusting prices, and ensuring accurate product availability
• Integrate digital menu systems with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and other restaurant technologies to ensure accurate ordering and inventory control
• Ensure that the digital menu enhances the customer experience by providing helpful information, nutritional details, interactive features, etc.
• Utilize data analytics to track menu item performance, pricing strategies, and customer preferences, making data-driven decisions to optimize profitability
• Ensure the digital menu complies with relevant regulations, such as allergen labeling and calorie disclosure requirements
• Train staff on using and updating digital menu systems and provide ongoing technical support
• Collaborate with the marketing team to leverage digital menus for promotions, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
• Manage the budget for digital menu implementation, software licenses, and ongoing maintenance
• Gather feedback from customers and staff to continuously improve the digital menu experience
• Ensure the security of customer data and payment information, as well as compliance with data privacy regulations

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Sitting at a computer for long periods of time, at least 90% of the time 
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds 
• Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods 

** Bonus to be paid after 30 days of employment and is subject to an 18 month payback agreement
