Job Description
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Project Controls Analyst II to be based in Tampa, FL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Project Managers and Program Managers to collect business analytics data, reporting on project progress for both cost and schedule.
- Run and facilitate meetings with PMs, client upper management, Team Leaders, Contractors, and Stakeholders in managing cash flow, schedules, procurement expenditure forecasting and planning, and contract capacities.
- Provide management of Risk issues and points of contact for those issues.
- Provide process analysis and update on Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), fiscal reporting processes, and Estimate at Completion reporting.
- Research and analyze project and program data.
- Forecast financial and schedule requirements.
- Report financial and schedule results. Performing ad-hoc analysis for program managers and project teams.
- May telecommute.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a project analyst or engineering-related occupation.
Position requires:
- Lean Construction process: planning and designing, creating a Value Stream, optimizing the flow of operations, implementing pull flows for predictable completions, and applying continuous improvement processes;
- Construction field management: working on-site for a contractor or subcontractor with responsibilities for labor trades, materials, contracts, costs or schedules;
- Analyzing programmatic data and construction data, and synthesize data into reporting and actionable tasks;
- Communicating with designers and planners to understand project scopes and define program or project requirements as they relate to costs and schedules;
- Excel and Power BI including in data collection, transforming data, and creating effective reports;
- Primavera P6, MS Projects, or similar scheduling software for creating, comparing and reporting on schedule progress; and
- Calculate and track Earned Value and report on EV status and causation of issues.
Additional Information
The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $76,000.00 to $93,000.00.
