Starting at $98,000 per year exempt/salaried position
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including on-call rotation for evenings, weekends and holidays

Somerfield Health Center at The Heritage at Brentwood is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to provide overall supervision and provision of nursing care and services. Job Responsibilities
- As the Assistant Director of Nursing, supervises direct nursing care on all shifts and administers nursing care and services when needed, including passing medication cart and responding to emergency calls
- Functions in the capacity of Director of Nursing (DON) in his/her absence
- Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, training, and evaluation of nursing care team members
- Assists in the provision of safe, reliable, and quality nursing care and services by maintaining sufficient levels of staffing in compliance with state, federal, and CMS laws and regulations.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of medical records
- Oversees infection control program
- Coordinates, conducts, and documents for MDS, resident care plans, and other required documentation in absence of MDS Coordinator
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Tennessee required
- Nursing supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with geriatric rehabilitation and restorative care nursing preferred
- Infection control certification preferred
- Experience with regulatory agency audits and inspections, including CMS, preferred
- Able to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Able to maintain professionalism and work well with others
