THE POSITION Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Operations Inventory Control Manager works hand in hand with internal stakeholders and external trade partners, proactively supporting the needs and requirements of the business by managing and reporting on the Inventory Control and Logistics function for Sunnova. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Procurement, O&M, Channel Operations and Accounting· Develops and implements the Inventory Control and Logistics strategy for the company.· Lead the cycle count program for Sunnova installers throughout Sunnova New Homes installer base. Compile, analyze and present results to stakeholders including Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and senior leadership. · Negotiates and implements agreements with CED and Distribution Companies as needed.· Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes and provide possible solutions. Implement necessary action to mitigate causes of inventory discrepancy.· Facilitate 3PL warehouse and partner distributor transfers to installers. Troubleshoot all material order problems from time of receipt. Responsible for ensuring all installers have enough material and jobs are not delayed due to lack of material.· Responsible for minimizing obsolete & excess material through end-of-life planning. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute the plan. · Work with internal and external stake holders to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures. Will be an active resource in implementing MRP/ERP process.· Manages, maintains, and reports on the accuracy of inventory at various locations throughout the United States, its Territories and Possessions through period cycle counts and Physical Inventories.· Development of KPI’s and supplier scorecard to support QBR’s.· Monitor and report on industry trends, i.e. new products or services, pricing, etc.· Maintain inventory of assets for partners, vendors and employees associated with the completion of service work orders· Other duties as assigned by the manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS
