Social Video Editor, Future Studios (12 month FTC)

Future Studios is one of the world’s leading producers of short-form factual and social content, creating and distributing digital content for huge global audiences, brands, clients and platforms. As well as producing content for its original documentary channel, Truly, it creates video for all of Future’s huge portfolio of market-leading brands.

Future Studios is expanding - and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Video Editor to join our team. Video plays an increasingly important role for Future’s huge portfolio and you will be at the heart of creating this.

What you’ll be doing

This important new role will work with the Future Studios video team to edit engaging short-form video content right across Future’s diverse range of brands, producing video that works across the key social video platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. You will be responsible for editing, reversioning and optimising our short-form original content which we make for our industry-leading brands including GamesRadar, Marie Claire, Yachting World, The Week, and many more.

This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

• Working in a fast-paced professional video post production environment with the ability to juggle multiple edits.
• Experience producing video content for social platforms such as TikTok, Twitter and Instagram would be a big advantage.
• An understanding of different social media video platforms’ content and audience.
• End-to-end editing of short-form video packages in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including offline, grading, audio mixing, and using music and graphics.

Salary banding for this position is up to £28,500.
