About the Role:
We are seeking a global Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will work in our Boston office and who specializes in or has in-depth knowledge of a wide array of human resources functions, including but not limited to: employee relations, compliance, HR systems, performance management, compensation, diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, leave of absence, training, as well as general payroll and benefit concepts. The HRBP will work to align business objectives and operations with employees and management by formulating partnerships to deliver relevant people solutions and value-added services. This position will maintain an effective level of business knowledge and literacy, strategic plans, culture and competition. The HRBP may also serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
What you’ll do:
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Compensation and merit analysis skills.
- Maintains company policies and employee handbook; provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
What you’ll need:
- Passion for Human Resources
- Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of HR experience in a corporate environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to foster relationships with staff across all levels
- Strong leadership skills
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation, benefits and employee relations
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems preferred
