As a Senior Communications FPGA Engineer you will be a vital member of the Engineering Center Technical Team and will collaborate with a broad spectrum of talented engineers to design and implement communications FPGA products. You will development complex high-speed FPGA applications using the latest FPGA platform technologies and development flows. Your responsibilities include development of FPGA architectures from specifications, design and implementation of those architectures in targeted FPGA platforms, and the integration and test of those architectures in system lab environments. You will also work closely with various FPGA support teams in the development process.

What You Will Do:
- Develop FPGA application specifications from customer requirements.
- Architect, design, and document the FPGA application from specifications.
- Implement FPGA designs targeting the latest FPGA platform technologies.
- Verification of FPGA applications in system lab environments.
- Partner with various FPGA support teams to support the FPGA environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience in FPGA Engineering.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Active U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance or current SSBI.
- Knowledge with telecommunications and/or signal processing concepts.
- Strong comprehension of HDL programming languages such as VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Experience with software languages used to interface to FPGA applications (Matlab, Python, C).
- Experience working with CCA and SW development teams to interface with FPGA components.
- Experience with the resolution of FPGA integration and test issues in hands-on lab environments.
