  • Research and identify opportunities to improve the UT mobile experience, in part by conducting user research via focus groups, usability testing or other methods.
  • Define and execute a marketing and messaging strategy to increase adoption and use of MyUT and other UT digital student-engagement platforms and mobile apps.
  • Collaborate with members of the Undergraduate Education Communications team, as well as with web developers, designers, vendors, Enrollment Management program leads and other campus stakeholders to execute marketing strategies and maintain mobile content.
  • Report on digital analytics including app downloads, usage and user behavior.
  • Lead the MyUT mobile app committee and serve as a member of the university’s Business and Administrative IT Leadership Council (BAITLC) Mobile Committee, providing recommendations and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, digital technology or related field. Five years’ experience in digital marketing, mobile marketing, customer experience, technology or related field. Experience using marketing analytics to measure effectiveness. Strong knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices and the ability to translate customer needs into business requests and product requirements. Strong writing, editing and verbal communications skills.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
