As the Sr. Analyst, Government Pricing, you will support the Sandoz Government Pricing team in data prep, validation, calculation, and analytics related to Sandoz participation in the following government programs:
•    Medicare Part B Program
•    VA Federal Supply Schedule Program
•    Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
•    PHS 340B Drug Discount Program

Your additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and validate underlying data and responsible for analysis of one or more of the following: Average Manufacture Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP) non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP) and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP).
  • Completion of State and Supplemental Program filings within the allotted timeframe.
  • Flawlessly execute all assigned controls, peer reviews and process steps related to Government Pricing calculations and submissions.
  • Responsible for maintaining SOPs, SOX documentation and price calculation evidence of work.
  • Responsible for review and maintenance of key master data utilized within all Government Pricing calculations.
  • Work closely with management and IT to resolve system and process issues.
  • Respond timely to pricing questions and pricing requests received from other business units, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to review commercial and business licensing contracts and amendments to assess Government Pricing requirements and implications. 
  • Participate on Government Pricing related projects.
  • Occasionally present to senior management and assist Associate Director(s) prepare submission presentations.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field of study
• 3+ years of experience in Pharma Industry (Finance, Pricing, GtN, Commercial)
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with all levels of internal and external customers
• Intermediate analytical skills

 Preferred:

  • 1-2 years of government pricing experience
  • Working knowledge of Government Pricing systems including Revitas and Model-N
  • Understanding of government regulations pertaining to Federal and State pharmaceutical programs
  • Working with relational databases utilizing query languages and/or software

Position Location:

This opportunity is located at the Sandoz Princeton, NJ site.  Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $92,800 and $139,200/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
