About the Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department has started to move from a renovation to a transformative phase by a continued focus on operational excellence and providing value to the customer. Today, Human Resources services span the gamut between providing basic information to employees regarding policies to partnering with managers to think through human capital implications. Through focused and interdepartmental initiatives, the Human Resources Department has moved towards automation and centralization of transactional work to create efficiencies and to raise the level of service offered to the enterprise.
About Your Role
Bridgewater’s HR Operations Team is currently seeking an exceptional Senior HR Generalist. Ideal candidates will be passionate about taking on a customer-centric service-oriented role focused on enabling employees, managers, and stakeholders to fulfill their human capital management (HCM) responsibilities via the excellent management of the employee life cycle processes. To be successful in the role, our Senior HR Generalist must develop subject matter expertise across the full employee life cycle and become a trusted thought partner for managers, employees & stakeholders alike.
You will drive the following responsibilities:
- Provide an excellent experience by knowledgably guiding internal customers through the employee life cycle, informing them about HR programs/policies, and adeptly helping them problem solve issues and/or sort through complex cases.
- Independently identify and proactively implement opportunities aimed at enhancing the experience of internal customers and key stakeholders.
- Crisply synthesize requestor’s needs, anticipate potential issues, and provide managers, employees, peers, and other stakeholders with appropriate transparency about the chosen path to resolution, progress against the plan, and final outcome to ensure case resolution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the broader HR Operations team by making well-informed (data and diagnosis-driven) recommendations about ways to evolve critical processes.
- Create and implement training curriculum and materials for customers, managers and relevant stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required - PHR or SHRM CP preferred.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of previous human resources experience, with strong Excel proficiency preferred.
