Inbound Third Shift
SUMMARY: Responsible to transport product with forklift and for keeping the selection slots filled to reduce and/or eliminate warehouse out of stocks in a timely, accurate, safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The individual must have the ability to perform the responsibilities listed below. The list is not all inclusive of duties that may be requested by the department head or a member of upper management but are intended for an understanding of the purpose of the position. It is the responsibility of each individual at AWG to provide ultimate customer service to our members to support their efforts in increasing same store sales and profits.
1. Move pallets of product from the reserve slot locations to the pick location as required to keep the selection slots filled so out of stocks are reduced and/or eliminated.
2. Maintain standard of productivity.
3. Keep equipment clean and inspect daily, reporting any mechanical or operational issues to supervision.
4. Keep assigned work area clean, neat and organized by performing these tasks as an example: Pick up all chep pallets in aisles; keep pallets in selection slots straight and pushed forward; pallets in reserve slots must be straight and not hanging unsafe; no double stacking of pallets in pick slots; correct or inform supervisor regarding any broken pallets in the slots.
5. Remove tape and wrap from pallet before slotting.
6. Work as a member of the AWG team so the total job responsibilities are met. Actions must always stress a sense of cooperation, integrity, tact and consideration with our members, associates and division management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferred; prior warehouse experience plus warehouse mobile equipment operating experience preferred. Basic required competencies: Conscientiousness, detail oriented, safety minded, self motivated to achieve, high initiative, ability to work with limited supervision, team oriented, learning and applying information, ability to follow instructions in English (both written and verbal).
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence relating to position.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math and algebra.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Posses the ability to work with coworkers and gain mutual respect with a common goal of increasing sales and profitability.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate safely warehouse mobile equipment.<
