Job Description/Responsibilities

Responsible for scheduling, supervision of work assigned, and training and development of the

maintenance hourly staff. The role also supports the Maintenance Manager vision and execution for the

department.

 

• Oversee the maintenance activities and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner.
• Attend mandatory cross functional team meetings daily regarding safety, quality and cost.
• Actively participate in the plant’s safety initiatives which include food safety and occupational.
• Prioritize routine and daily activities to support production schedules.
• Manage and build upon existing Preventative Maintenance programs using E-maint.
• Continuously working to keep unscheduled downtime to a minimum through continuous improvements
• Assist with continuous improvement of the production facility regarding CAPEX projects.
• Maintain and upgrade equipment; develop and implement new procedures and methods to
• improve production flow in both operational cost reduction and quality improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience in team building, coaching and succession planning for technical and engineering personnel
• Maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and application of lean manufacturing skills
• Project management experience, and goal orientated
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
