APS Business Manager - Powders

Basic Function

The Business Manager will lead the cross functional team for the Specialty Powders Business unit.   They will develop and implement business strategies that will drive growth and deliver value according to long term plans.  #LI-TF1

Roles & Responsibilities

•    Lead Cross-Functional Team consisting of Sales, NBD, ADTS, PAD, procurement, Asset, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Strategy, etc
•    Product Line strategies and business management

          -Portfolio Management
          -Value Proposition
          -Customer profitability
          -Pricing Strategy and positioning
          -Develop business cases for Profit Generation projects
          -Marketing communications and sales tool-kits
•    Innovation strategy for the business
•    Portfolio Reviews
•    Medium term demand forecast
•    Prioritize Demand/Supply in S&OP (allocations)
•    Competitive Benchmarking
•    Sales contract approvals
•    Input for LRP and & Financial Forecasts
•    Main KPIs – CM1, CM2, EBITDA
•    All other duties not specifically assigned.

Min. Qualifications

Required:  Bachelor’s degree in scientific or technical field
Preferred:  Master’s degree in business

Work Experience

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a Technical, Sales/Marketing or Supply Chain role.
Willingness to travel 25% of time to visit customers, distributors, etc.
Cross-functional experience preferred (i.e. commercial, technical, finance, manufacturing)
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel), Salesforce, and SAP (preferred)
