The Opportunity:
As a CACI-SOAS Expert Nuclear Weapons Analyst, you will conduct all-source technical analytic production on foreign nuclear weapons to include, but not limited to, nuclear weapons production, invento1y, doctrine, testing and evaluation, transfer mechanisms, proliferation, and other associated technologies, goods, and se1vices. You will assess foreign nuclear weapons systems to detect modernization efforts, assess reliability and determine vulnerabilities. Works with engineers, scientists, and/ or modelers on foreign nuclear weapons processes, capabilities, consequence management, and dual-use systems technologies.

Responsibilities:

• You will demonstrate the ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions on nuclear weapons.
• You will demonstrate expert analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft, and techniques.
• You will demonstrate extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher) on nuclear weapons matters.

Qualifications:

Required: 

• Minimum 20 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years relevant to nuclear weapons.
• Master’s degree in nuclear related field (nuclear engineering, etc.) from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206
• You must also possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.
• Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.

Desired:

• Desired Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience conducting analysis with at least a portion of the experience within the last 5 years relevant to nuclear weapons.
• Desired Education: Doctorate degree in nuclear related field (nuclear engineering, etc.) from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• CI Polygraph
• Expert understanding of JP 3-40, JP 3-25, ICD 203, and ICD 206
