Job Summary: Responsible for direction and management of Wealth and Trust Administrators and Assistants. Develops procedures to ensure compliance and timely accurate workflow. Resolves client issues. Ensures that Administrators are providing consistent support to Advisors and following procedures as directed. Helps promote and execute INTRUST Premier, Wealth and Trust initiatives. Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives and projects to support the department and/or business unit. Establishes work processes for team members and ensures a high-level of customer service is delivered and promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST. Represents INTRUST Bank in all they do in the community and is focused on the development of new business relationships. Maintains strict standards of confidentiality and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST’s Character Qualities.
Essential Functions: All expectations described in the job description’s essential functions are necessary to be successful in this role, performed with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Effectively manage others by consistently applying INTRUST’s supervisor and manager expectations: relationship management; feedback; coaching and development; establishing effective work culture expectations; critical thinking; business acumen; and resource management.
• Provides oversight to Administrators and Assistants on day-to-day trust and investment activities.
• Collaborate with entire advisory team in all aspects of the client relationship, client experience and segmentation to ensure administrators and assistants are meeting all team and client needs.
• Help implement policies and procedures used by administrative team and hold the team accountable to ensure operations comply with the organizations policies and legal regulations.
• Foster and encourage a team approach and cooperation among team members by addressing and mediating conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure team members have the necessary resources, tools, and support to perform daily responsibilities.
• Effectively communicate within the team and amongst other departments while serving as a representative for the team to management and other stakeholders.
• Manage and lead the team through changes and help the group adapt effectively.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in area of business and related field with 5-10 years management experience. Wealth management services, trust administration and/or investment management experience a plus, but not required.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent client communication skills, both written and oral are a must. Knowledge of federal/state affirmative action and equal employment laws/regulations. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a business setting.
