Business Systems Analyst l - Brokerage Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Become well-versed of in-house and vendor systems for research and problem solving.
- Analyze summary and exception information from reconciliation reporting.
- Document metrics based on reporting results.
- Use findings to generate recommendations for internal and external partners.
- Transmit reporting exceptions to vendor for client website updates.
- Validate client website updates.
- Document processes or reporting enhancements,
- Resolve or help resolve client and advisor escalations or other immediate ad hoc requests.
- Maintain effective and trusting relationships with key business partners.
- Provide support to small to medium sized projects.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4-years) in Finance, Economics, Math, Science, or related field
- A passion and enthusiasm for the financial services industry
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and willingness to learn new processes and systems.
- Strong analytical (quantitative/qualitative), problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and business partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively summarize and communicate results from data request analyses.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for evaluating data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Brokerage operations Experience
- Experience processing corporate actions events.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, queries and macros, or equivalent ability to learn.
- Additional data software or programming languages or ability to learn.
