Annual Salary: $135,000 - $225,000 (depends on experience level)

Responsibilities may include providing day-to-day system upkeep, conducting system & vulnerability scans and mitigating any findings, patching vulnerabilities, and updating software and operating systems.

At least one of the following or a higher-level certification is required. Any continuing education (CE) requirements for the certification must be maintained while on contract:

• A+ CE
• CCNA-Security
• CND
• Network+ CE
• SSCP
• Security+ CE

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance w/ a Favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Shall have familiarity with systems engineering such as the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of hardware/software systems, and requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation
• Shall have familiarity with developing documentation required to support a program’s technical issues and training situations.
• Shall have familiarity with agile and/or spiral development models.
• MASH
• Linux system administration
• Agency IAVA alerting and reporting tools (LatteArt, Biscotti, etc.)
• Conducting IAVA and security-related patching
• Understanding of Agency STE/STN requirements and applicable mitigations
• Monitoring system health with Nagios/Splunk
• Bash scripting

Desired Skills:

• SaltStack
• Knowledge of working with the GECC and handling outages
• Agile software development
• Jira and Confluence
