Job Description
BA• Manage the Day to Day of the WLCU studio for productions.
• Manage all facility upkeep and Equipment upkeep - cameras, tripods, lights, mics
• Main contact for equipment coming in and out of the studio
• Assist Mass Communication with equipment needs for events such as Homecoming Parade and Athletic Awards Night.
• Responsible for assigned productions of university events including home and road events on the CU Sports Network.
• Helps broadcast production lead in developing and maintaining a transmission program schedule for WLCU- TV and Claw United.
• Helps with setup for and production roles on shows produced in WLCU Studios.
• Serve as show producers for assigned products produced by WLCU and CU sports network.
• Will assist in training students in all aspects of broadcasting production at CU.
• Work with maintenance engineers to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Provide oversight to students assigned to work within the broadcasting arena of the unit
• Provide logistical and mentoring support for academic courses using the facilities.
• Support the GM and other program and production efforts associated with radio.
• Serve on appropriate development and university project committees.
