The Challenge

The Qualtrics XM for Customer Frontline team is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to drive long-term growth while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals for our XM for Locations product - an emerging, high-growth business line. The best person for this role has 5-7 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing and 2+ years in a client-facing role. They understand the customer experience management market space, have proven chops in value-based messaging that delivers pipeline and win rates, and can operationalize a multi-channel GTM motion. Additionally, this person will be able to influence the product roadmap by bringing market and customer insights to R&D while creating compelling content and working closely with teams like enablement, growth marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver a robust and cohesive customer experience. 

Expectations for Success

This full-funnel role develops product and GTM strategies that position the company to achieve long-term growth in the experience management space while meeting annual revenue and profitability goals. PMMs are responsible for their line of business, defining strategic direction and driving execution to achieve long-term business goals. You will know your customers and market so intimately that you define and communicate a clear, differentiated, defensible, and monetizable market position. You’ll be customer-obsessed, strategic, detailed, creative, an adept storyteller, and comfortable presenting to various audiences.

Primary responsibilities:

Represent the voice of the customer:

  • Through market research, field engagements, and observation - articulate the changing needs of the market, and our buyer and define our ideal customer profile (ICP)

  • Understand segmentation and the buying journey and lead the organization as a subject matter expert.

  • Create and socialize impactful value-based positioning and messaging that resonates with our audience and drives a measurable impact in sales engagements, marketing initiatives, and campaigns.

Bring the product to life.

  • Develop the marketing and sales content to support the customer buying journey and business goals. Including but not limited to messaging and positioning, use cases, and supporting content such as pitch decks, case studies, blogs, webpages, whitepapers, and other customer and sales-facing content. 

  • Partner with Enablement to ensure our customer-facing teams fully understand our audience and clearly articulate the value, differentiation, and function of our products and solutions.

  • Using your knowledge of the product and the market, define key storylines and themes that the go-to-market teams should prioritize.

  • Understand and articulate our competitive differentiators for internal and external content.

  • Represent Qualtrics across various engagements, including -  industry events, webinars, and in conversations with industry analysts. 

Partner with teams across the organization

  • Represent the product, the buyer, and the market while working with cross-functional teams across the company.

  • Develop strong partnerships and feedback loops with Product and Revenue teams.

  • Establish an effective relationship with the sales force with leadership, training, pricing, and positioning expertise.

  • Present strategic recommendations about product, GTM, launches, etc. to Leadership

Orchestrate the growth of the XM for Locations product

  • Create and drive the GTM strategy for the XM for Locations product in collaboration with product management, sales, growth marketing, field marketing, and industry teams. Monitor business metrics regarding revenue, pipeline, win rate, and market share.

  • Partner with GTM teams, Product leadership, and other cross-functional teams to develop and orchestrate product launches that drive growth and retention.
