Our ABA direct services are designed to meet the unique needs of children in underserved communities, providing them with the support and resources they require to reach their full potential. We are passionate about ensuring that every child, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status, has access to high-quality healthcare. By leveraging our technology platform and partnering with local providers, we are able to deliver effective ABA therapy to families who may otherwise have limited access to these essential services.

The Lead BCBA will spend 40% of their time delivering ABA services to patients and families.  Responsibilities will include assessment, plan development, service delivery, case management, supervision, caseload development, parent training, annual performance reviews, and quality assurance.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Lead BCBA will spend 60% of their time overseeing the BCBA & RBT team, day to day operations, and growth of their assigned clinic or regions.  This will include project work such as the launch of services in new regions including supporting hiring, training, community outreach, and establishing school contracts.  This will also include partnering with Frontera’s product team to support the implementation of new technology within our clinics.  This role may include travel between regions.

Education and Experience:

  • Acceptable graduate degree from an accredited university, completion of acceptable graduate coursework in behavior analysis, and a defined period of supervised practical experience to apply for the BCBA exam.  
  • Acceptable graduate degree, a full-time faculty position in behavior analysis that includes research and teaching, and supervised practical experience to apply for the BCBA exam.  
  • Acceptable doctoral degree that was conferred at least 10 years ago and at least 10 years’ post-doctoral practical experience to apply for the BCBA exam.
  • Well qualified candidates will possess a minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience including hiring, training, team member development (coaching, feedback and performance management)
  • Well qualified candidates will demonstrate the ability to conduct successful community and partnership outreach with a proven ROI.  Examples include school contracts, establishing talent pipelines, and establishing client referral pipelines.

General Requirements:

  • General knowledge and experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Must be able to be onsite at our Las Cruces center for a minimum of three days per week.
  • Services and/or knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder  
  • Leadership experience 
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Excel, database management and record keeping. 
  • Effective oral and written communication. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. 
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality. 
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent and effective relationship building skills 
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Willing to engage in an involved and team-focused workplace. 
  • Interacts professionally with ethnically/culturally/spiritually different people in a sensitive and respectful manner. 
  • Flexible schedule, but must be able to work irregular hours when necessary
  • Must meet the physical requirements of the position.

The Lead BCBA will operate within Local, State and Federal Regulations as well as adhere to all Frontera Health policies and procedures.  Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting behavior or functional Analytic Assessment Process
  • Developing the case supervision and clinical manage
