For more than 35 years, the Virginia Lottery has been building an amazing organization committed to growth and giving back – and having fun while doing it. Operating entirely on revenue from game sales, rather than tax dollars, the Virginia Lottery generates more than $2.0 million per day for Virginia’s K-12 public schools. The Virginia Lottery also licenses and regulates casino gaming and mobile sports betting.
The Virginia Lottery is currently seeking a Sales Program Coordinator to support the Sales Department by coordinating various projects and training programs aimed at enhancing effectiveness and support the agency strategy. Additionally, this position will serve as a liaison between the Sales and Marketing departments.
The Sales Program Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Sales Program Manager, Sales management and Field Sales employees to coordinate training by identifying, delivering and tracking training needs. They will also manage internal Lottery publications by soliciting content from the Sales and Marketing departments, finalizing and sharing with stakeholders. Additionally, the Sales Program Coordinator will manage the Sales learning management system, maintain the department's SharePoint site, and collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful onboarding of sales employees.
Note - This position requires in-office work three days per week including Tuesday and Wednesday.
Minimum Qualifications
-The successful candidate must be self-motivated, self-directed, creative and innovative; must be comfortable with prioritizing, establishing objectives and processes, and working to achieve them.
-Ability establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with all departments and organizational levels; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized in an ambiguous work environment
-Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team.
-Must have proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (familiarity with IOS systems is preferred but not required).
-Should have flexibility to travel for day and/or overnight meetings and conferences.
A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
Additional Considerations
Lottery experience a plus.
