City Experiences is seeking a Server Assistant Lead  for our BUSINESS UNIT operation in CITY.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

The successful Server Assistant Lead must work in a safe manner performing the tasks outlined by the manager or supervisor on duty. The Server Assistant trainer aids servers in the prompt delivery and removal of food and beverage items, is hospitable and cordial to guests and coworkers, acts safely and responsibly, and is knowledgeable about the vessel and the skyline.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers as prescribed in our RESPECT service system.
•Perform all functions listed in the Crew description. Lead by example always.
•Be prepared to begin work at the scheduled time. Maintain uniform and personal grooming incompliance with appearance standards.
•Create and maintain a safe work environment, focusing constantly on the safety of all Guests and Crew.
•Aids restaurant managers for Crew adherence to procedures detailed in the fleet training programs and Standard Operating Policies and procedures.
•Learn and implement all necessary scripting and approaches, entertainment, and comprehensive knowledge of all F&B Menu items, packages & POS systems.
•Provide Crew Members with any knowledge needed to successfully execute the event. Observe and recommend frontline Crew that require further training and development to ensure proper and effective service.
•Efficiently work to provide all Crew and Guests with the best possible experience while on our vessel, or while at work. This will include maintaining a strong sense of teamwork, having the highest service standards, and having fun while performing job tasks.
•Assist Crew with Guest service.
•Support set up and break down dining room and service stations as prescribed. Participate and lead pre-cruise and post cruise settings. Assign reset duties to Crew and ensure completion. Check out all side work and reset duties.
•Motivate Crew – provide quality feedback.
•Actively participate in all required meetings.
•Support management and notify of any issues or situations, and to offer solutions to problems.
•Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent required
•One (1) year experience in high volume restaurant preferred.
•Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential
•Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and

• Basic computer and Point of Sale skills are required.
• Will work for extended periods without sitting.
• Required to lift furniture and other heavy items such as dishes up and down stairs.
• Will be required to be available for work on all major holidays.
• Must meet minimum state age requirements.
• Displays RESPECT values.
• Great communication and leadership skills.
• Complete understanding of all policies, procedures, side work, and reset duties.
• Full product knowledge of:
    o Menu
    o Wine list
    o Drink list.
    o Cruise routes and points of interest
    o Vessel facts
