In the ATM and Cash Analytics team, you’ll be at the heart of driving operational excellence across Capital One’s ATM and Cash ecosystem. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional operations teams, technology partners, business and product owners to build and maintain high-impact data solutions that will help improve vendor transparency, ATM availability, cash demand forecasting and drive decision-making with data. This role requires strong data analytical, tech proficiency and stakeholder management skills to lead both people and projects. Alongside deriving value for the business, this role entails a strong emphasis on data and script governance procedures to remain in a well-managed, audit friendly state. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence organizational direction by uncovering key insights hidden in complex datasets like ATM transaction logs and vendor reports. You’ll be expected to influence Org leaders by translating analytical findings into actionable business insights that support strategic investments.
On a given day, you will be:
Leading a team of analysts to build data products that support Capital One’s ATM and cash operations.
Partnering with operations, product, and tech teams to automate vendor invoice reconciliation and develop scalable reporting pipelines.
Driving the strategy for ingesting and analyzing complex ATM logs to identify trends, reduce operational risk, and support strategic decision-making.
Working with enterprise tech teams to align on long-term data engineering solutions and advocate for enhancements that enable better insights across cash and ATM functions.
Creating analytical narratives and data stories to influence executive leaders on industry trends and enterprise alignment.
Coaching and mentoring junior team members to grow analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
Leading efforts to improve team operations, foster collaboration, and build a strong, data-driven culture within the ATM and Cash space.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field) plus at least 6 years of experience performing data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience performing data analytics with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.
At least 4 years of experience performing professional data analysis work
At least 4 years of experience performing programming
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics discipline
At least 7 years of professional data analysis work experience
At least 4 years of experience with Python, R, Spark or SQL
At least 1 year of experience in people management
At least 1 years of project management experience
At least 1 year of experience in Tableau
Proficient utilizing and developing within AWS service

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
