Summary 

The Tender Manager is responsible for managing the tender process for new business opportunities and ensuring that DSV provides the most competitive and profitable bids to clients. The Tender Manager will be required to work with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is included in the bid process. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Manage the tender process from start to finish, including the preparation of bids, pricing, and proposal writing 

• Analyze customer needs and provide solutions that meet or exceed their expectations 

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all relevant information is included in the bid process 

• Prepare and present proposals to potential clients 

• Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors 

• Manage the documentation and contract administration process 

• Provide regular updates on the status of bids to senior management 

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures 

 

Educational background / Work experience 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field 

• 3-5 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a focus on tender management and proposal writing 

 

Skills & Competencies 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint 

• Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape

Supervisory Responsibilities (if any) 

• May supervise a team of tender coordinators or specialists 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field 

• Certification in supply chain management or logistics 

• Experience working with international clients and vendors 

 

Language skills 

• Fluent in English (oral and written) 

 

Computer Literacy 

• Proficient in using software and tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, TMS, CRM, and bid management systems.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $62,000 - $84,000/ Annual.  Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
