The Job at a Glance
Our team's overall objective is to establish Parts Town as a trusted partner to manufacturers across the industry. You will be tasked with managing, optimizing, and scaling both new and current manufacturer partnerships. This position will collaborate with various teams across the business, such as marketing and analytics, to execute strategic partnership project initiatives. The Account Manager, Manufacturer Partnerships (internally known as PARTnership Builder) should be a self-starting individual with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, execute strategy on program growth opportunities, and is able to effectively communicate partnership details back to the business to ensure a great customer experience is delivered.
A Typical Day
- Initiate and coordinate projects for existing programs to enhance our position as a trusted partner
- Launch and operationalize new manufacturer programs
- Manage compliance with our partnership agreements
- Grow deeper partnerships and program sales
To Land This Opportunity
- You have 3-5 years under your belt in a business development environment, managing stakeholders and projects, communicating across multiple levels of the organization, reporting results, along with bearing a high level of comfort with all MS Office tools, SAP, and Salesforce
- You are a resourceful self-starter, who is comfortable driving results and deadlines autonomously
- You can walk into a room of strangers and have a dozen friends before the party’s over. It’s not unusual to find you chatting up team members at all levels of the organization
- You lead with curiosity. You have a passion for solving problems, continuous improvement, and making order out of chaos
- Your previous coworkers could use the following words to describe you: committed, collaborative, approachable, articulate, and flexible
