At Haleon, the Material Handler is responsible for a diverse range of tasks related to receiving, warehousing, delivering, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventories to support the Lincoln plant. In this role, your daily responsibilities may include the following:

• Operating material handling equipment including standup forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, vacuhoist, carton clamp, and slip-sheet attachment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Ensuring material receipt, warehousing, and delivery to point of use to meet internal/external customer expectations, including shipments of finished goods to the off-site Distribution Center.

• Loading and unloading trailers that are going between our off-site Distribution Center and main site.

• Checking/verifying, signing for inbound freight from suppliers, complete cleaning & labeling of materials.

• Assisting in completion of receipts and shipments as needed.

• Delivering all materials and product to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.

• Maintaining material inventory quantity accuracy via physical counts & inventory management system transactions to maintain accurate inventory.

• Maintaining material location accuracy via RF scanner.

• Inspecting, operating, troubleshooting, cleaning, and reporting issues pertaining to material handling equipment.

• Maintaining training on SOPs, Policies, GMPs, OSHA guidelines and Safety Security & Environment guidelines

• Maintaining a high level of safety awareness. This includes participating in the ZAP program.

• This role will be a 1st shift position at our Fletcher Avenue location.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:      

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years of forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Stand up forklift experience loading/unloading trailers as well as storage in racking and bulk areas

• Experience in MERP or SAP inventory management systems

• Experience in Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry
