What you'll do

The Docusign Extend - Extension Experiences team is looking for a highly-motivated Software Engineer - Frontend to join our team. This pillar will work within the BxP organization to create frontend best in class experiences. The team builds UI components on top of the organizations platform to enable other products within the company to reuse and scale UI experiences.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, with proficiency in Javascript, React, and NodeJS. You enjoy fast-paced environments and building solutions with integrations across multiple teams.

 

This is position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering.

 

Responsibility

• Design and develop high-quality, user-focused experiences using React and Node.js
• Build, maintain, and scale the component library to ensure UI consistency and reusability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
• Develop and maintain comprehensive automated tests, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing, to ensure reliability and stability
• Work within an Agile development environment, leveraging best practices like CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and effective code reviews
• Collaborate cross-functionality with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create seamless user-facing applications

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

• 2+ years experience as a Software Engineer

• 2+ years experience with Frontend technologies like React, Javascript, HTML, CSS

• Experience with either C#, Java, NodeJS or another backend programming language

• Experience working full stack

• Experience working with Product, Designers, and cross-teams

• Experience working in Agile development environment

Preferred

• Experience and working on scalable and maintainable services

• Passion for UI with a good sense of usability and design

• Experience with using telemetry to gain insights into usage patterns and feature success

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $112,800.00 - $175,000.00 base salary 

 

This role is also eligible for the following:

• Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
• Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
