Job Description
The Sales Applications Analyst will participate in ongoing application development and support including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, documentation, and training support for sales applications.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams and other stakeholders to improve sales systems, processes, and applications.
- Responsible for project management tasks to help drive application enhancement projects through the development lifecycle starting with gathering and documenting requirements, solution design, testing, deployment, and providing initial support post deployment.
- Work with developers to understand the designs and validate that the sales applications solutions(s) will satisfy the business needs on assigned projects.
- Responsible for creating test scripts, coordinating test activities, and assisting with testing the sales applications.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope.
- Provide feedback to the Sales Development Group on sales applications functionality, business requirements, user satisfaction, priorities for development, and opportunities for adding value for users.
- Responsible for CRM Business Administration tasks like user maintenance and CRM data housekeeping activities.
- Perform second level Helpdesk support daily and first level coverage for sales applications when needed.

Qualifications
Education/Experience A bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in business application analysis, or equivalent experience or education. Experience in a sales environment is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Core People Skills. Ability to positively interact and work collaboratively with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization.
- Communication Skills. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and obtain clarification, and respond well to questions. Ability to write clearly and concisely and edit work for spelling and grammar.
- Computer/Applications Skills. Skill in using a variety of software applications systems, for example: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Applications Analyst Skills. Familiarity with waterfall, agile or other software development methodology as well as all stages of the application development lifecycle. Experience writing use cases, user stories, test scenarios, process flow charts, or other similar documentation.
- Core Business Skills. Ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion in handling of proprietary and confidential information. Ability to work independently, without significant direction and to use resources to effectively to “figure it out”. Strong critical thinking skills, judgment and keen attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional prioritization, time management and organizational skills. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
