Description

Job Summary:
Population Health Data Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing data related to quality improvement initiatives and empanelment processes within the healthcare organization. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data, developing and implementing data-driven strategies to improve patient care, and supporting the empanelment of healthcare providers.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Improvement: 

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in healthcare quality.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings to senior management and clinical teams.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to design and implement process improvements based on data insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all quality improvement activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. 

Empanelment:

  • Empanelment Processes: Maintenance of the empanelment process, ensuring that providers are appropriately assigned to patient panels based on data-driven criteria.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with providers and managers to facilitate smooth and efficient empanelment.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of empanelment data through regular audits and validation checks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the empanelment process through the use of technology and best practices.

     

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data analysis, quality improvement, or healthcare administration role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel) and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to diverse audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data management and reporting.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Office-based role. 
  • Travel: Minimal travel may be required for meetings.
