Overview: The Line Inspector is responsible for ensuring the production output meets the required quality standards of the Louisiana Association for the Blind (L.A.B.).

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Inspect unwrapped reams of copy paper for misaligned and defective sheets and ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure reams are in satisfactory condition before allowing them to be wrapped.
• Weigh and rework unacceptable reams.
• Operate conveyor controls when required.
• Report any defects to the machine operator to ensure that corrective measures are implemented effectively.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance the overall quality and safety of processes.
• Recommend improvements to enhance the quality of products.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods with light to moderate lifting.
• Ability to operate conveyor controls when needed.
• Background in production or assembly line work is helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures.
