EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree preferred.
Experience preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationship and team building.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of patient laboratory test results. Performs procedures efficiently and as indicated in the procedure manual with minimal supervision and within the required turn-around-time without compromising quality. Responds to STATs immediately.
