Blacksburg, VA - Entertainment Attendant

JOB OVERVIEW
As an Arcade/Bowling Attendant, you will work in both bowling and arcade areas, interacting
with guests to make each experience magical and fun. 
This job requires you to work during the evening, on weekends, and occasionally on holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
▪ Politely interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the arcade, bowling,
theatre, or restaurant areas to ensure a magical entertainment experience.
▪ Treats all guests with positive attitude to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always
strives to exceed guests’ expectations.
▪ Maintains a safe and secure arcade and bowling area.
▪ Administers a waiting list and pagers if necessary.
▪ Redeems arcade points for redemption prizes.
▪ Cleans, organizes, and stocks redemption store and counters.
▪ Cleans arcade games and routinely sweeps/vacuums arcade carpets.
▪ Attempts to troubleshoot malfunctioning arcade games and otherwise notifies
management or maintenance of any malfunctioning arcade game machines.
▪ Assigns bowling lanes based on availability, group size, lane spacing, and waiting list.
▪ Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when lanes are not
immediately available.
▪ Cleans/scrapes and sanitizes bowling shoes and organize by size.
▪ Works with fellow employees to ensure enjoyable experience while in the facility.
▪ Answers Arcade, Bowling, and Theatre questions.
▪ Responds promptly to guests’ needs.
▪ Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
▪ Cleaning.
▪ Completing any other duties as delegated or designated by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Must be at least 16 years old at the time of hire.  
▪ Excellent people and organizational skills.
▪ Attention to cleanliness and safety.

Physical demands include but are not limited to:
▪ The employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, or feel, reach with
hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. Reasonable accommodations for disabilities will
