Staff Accountant

Title:

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in month end closings.
• Bank reconciliations and cash applications.
• Assist in compiling financial data in Excel, using Pivot Tables and V-Lookup functions.
• Assist in Accounts Payable function.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting.

• 2-3 years of experience in general accounting
• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills, especially Excel.
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytic abilities
• Apparel Company experience preferred but not necessary
