As we’ve scaled, we’ve also raised money from world-class growth investors including Left Lane Capital, Molten Ventures, and <em>L</em> Catterton. <br/><br/> We are looking for an exceptional customer onboarding associate to join our team. You will work within the Customer Operations function and you'll be helping our new customers to smoothly onboard with us and handle queries regarding their account. You'll have the opportunity to help us improve the operational blueprint for onboarding and service, building for customer excellence and scale. You will report to our Senior Customer Operations Manager in the UK.<br/><br/><strong>Logistics:<br/></strong>The application process consists of a 5 stage process. You will initially have a phone interview with one of our internal Talent Specialists, followed by a hiring manager interview and a task presentation followed by a values interview and an executive interview with our Founders. <br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>As a member of the Financial Crime Compliance team, you will: <br/><br/> <ul> <li>Provide oversight of our financial crime control environment, ensuring that we are compliant with all the relevant financial crime rules and regulations. </li> <li>Assess the strength of our financial crime controls (including for market abuse) and provide practical and actionable support to ensure improvements are implemented</li> <li>Work with our product and engineering team to minimise the risk of the app being used to carry out financial crime (including market abuse by customers).</li> <li>Monitor emerging market abuse risks and ensure we are effectively monitoring for them and making changes to our product where required.</li> <li>Handle escalations from teams within the business on matters pertaining to financial crime.</li> <li>Review escalated cases and where necessary conduct investigations and liaise with the relevant authorities (e.g. Police, NCA or the FCA).<br/><br/> </li> </ul><br/><h3>About You</h3><ul> <li>You are based in Hungary </li> <li>You are passionate about our product and our commitment to protect our customers from the threat of Financial Crime.</li> <li>You have experience working in a regulated financial services company, ideally with some exposure to different types of financial crime.</li> <li>The opportunity to help build our company and embed a culture of doing the right thing truly excites you.</li> <li>You are excited about what we’re doing at Freetrade and where we’re headed!</li> </ul><br/><br/><h3>Benefits</h3>We offer a competitive salary plus stock options and lots of<a href="https://freetrade.io/careers#benefits"> other benefits</a>.<br/><br/><em>We are an Equal Opportunity employer committed to a diverse and representative team.
