About the role

Work Flexibility: Onsite

Schedule:

  • Mon - Fri,  8am – 5pm

What you will do:

  • Perform switchboard duties to create a professional first impression of our Company and to meet departmental goals and objectives
  • Independently answer a high volume of incoming telephone calls (100–200 calls/day) using a multi-line telephone, or voice over IP system, and route to appropriate personnel
  • Answer, solve or appropriately redirect employee and visitor questions or concerns
  • Respond/distribute all emails sent to Stryker public website
  • Continuously refine and update call logs
  • Manage all voicemail boxes associated with the switchboard
  • Take and distribute messages to personnel via voice mail, email or as otherwise instructed
  • Ensure switchboard always has coverage
  • Provide back-up phone coverage for receptionist

What you need:

  • Preferred
    • High school diploma or GED
    • One (1) year relevant work experience
      • High volume multi-line phone system experience highly preferred
