Flexsys America, a leading manufacturer of tire additive products, has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Intern at its Sauget, IL location. Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Intern and gain hands-on experience in the field of HR. This Paid internship offers a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of human resources, providing opportunities to learn and contribute in a supportive environment. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.
Job Description
The Human Resources Internship Program at Flexsys America offers participants exciting and challenging work assignments as well as training and mentoring. HR Intern duties and responsibilities are generally centered around reviewing documentation, employee relations, Labor relations, and human resources in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Helping the HR team create, file, and review HR policies and procedures.
- Helping the Human Resources Manager(s) maintain a sound recruitment process to fill company job vacancies.
- Supporting employees by providing answers to their questions and addressing their issues.
- Organizing company events, including workshops, Interviews, seminars, and employee conferences.
- Filing HR documents and communicating with the HR manager on all matters relating to human resources.
Requirements
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be part of Undergraduate class of 2025/2026 (Required)
- Pursuant of an undergraduate degree in Human Resources/Human Resources Management.
- GPA: 3.0 or better (Required).
- 1+ years of experience working in an office environment.
- Must be a good team player.
- Must demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Must be a local candidate, relocation assistance is not provided for this role
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- A fundamental comprehension of the relevant labor laws.
- Proficiency in Human Resources Information System software.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Possess well-developed organizational and communication skills.
