Why This is an Exciting Role:
BI&A is seeking a Windows Cloud Engineer who designs, implements, and manages Windows-based cloud infrastructure and services across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The role is responsible for architecting scalable Windows solutions in cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of Windows workloads.
Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- 8 Years of experience in Cloud Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
- A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
Required Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing)
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes on Windows)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work
Desired Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Windows Server)
- AWS or GCP certifications for Windows workloads
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk)
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Summary Pay Range:

$104,000 - $126,000
