Job Description Summary:

Within the dialysis environment and under the supervision of the Lead RN, performs specific patient care activities, performs selected technical support activities and assists the RN to perform specific nursing activities for which the individual has received specific training and certification through the Ohio Board of Nursing. The Dialysis Technician is assigned a patient care team structure to specific patients, and acts in partnership with the Lead RN in performing direct patient care to patients receiving hemodialysis treatments.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association, OCDT - Ohio Certified Dialysis Technician - Ohio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingOhio Board of NursingPrevious dialysis training and current Certification as an Ohio Certified Dialysis Technician. Preferred five ( 5 ) years dialysis Experience , BCLS.
